Healing Waves Anthology Available!

So, remember how Nature tried to annihilate Japan back in March? You probably saw the awe-inspiring video of the enormous tidal wave eating Sendai and spitting out flaming cars and debris. Well, it's been a while but people still need help over there. So...

If you buy this very cheap anthology, all the money goes to help the victims. Oh, yeah, I have a story in here too, one of my favorite pieces, a reprint from the now-defunct Les Bonnes Fees webzine: "Snow as It Falls". It's retelling of the Japanese folktale "The Crane Wife". I've read the anthology; everything in it is worth reading, so for $3.99 it's a bargain!

You can download it in various formats; if you have a question, ask me!

  1. I have a question, actually. I wanted to include a note about this in my blog. I don't see any info on how the money gets to people and to whom it goes specifically. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place? I'd like to make sure to have a link to that info as well if possible. Thanks!

  2. Ah, good question, I should have out that in here. The charity in question is the Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund. Their website: http://www.globalgiving.org/projects/japan-earthquake-tsunami-relief/ Global Giving is an organization that handles lots of charity projects including this one. www.globalgiving.org. The money goes to smaller aid organizations in Japan: http://www.globalgiving.org/projects/japan-earthquake-tsunami-relief/updates/

Does that answer your question? I know it's kind of confusing, I had to read it all twice to figure out the chain of custody!
